Steel Bridge Capital Group LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Raise the Roof platform at raisetheroof.app ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and workspace name
• Investor and contact data: names, phone numbers, email addresses, company information, investment preferences, and any notes or custom fields you enter about your contacts
• Deal information: property details, fundraising targets, commitment records, and deal notes
• Communications: call logs, SMS messages sent through Twilio, and email content sent through Resend
• Billing information: subscription plan and billing cycle (payment card details are handled by Stripe)

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken within the Service, and session duration
• Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Log data: server logs including error reports and performance data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, password resets)
• To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
• To analyze usage patterns and improve product features
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud or abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or your contacts' data to third parties. We do not use your investor contact data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude API to power certain AI features, including business card scanning and contact extraction from images. When you use these features, the relevant image or content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their privacy policy. We do not use AI features to analyze or profile your investor contacts beyond the specific feature you invoke.

We share data with the following third-party providers to operate the Service:

Each provider is contractually bound to use your data only to provide the service for which they are engaged and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days, after which it is deleted from active systems. Backups may persist for up to 90 days before being purged.

Certain data (billing records, transaction logs) may be retained longer as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database connections, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at security@raisetheroof.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — request an export of your data in a common format
• Opt-out — opt out of non-essential communications

The Service uses session cookies and authentication tokens to maintain your logged-in state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, but doing so may prevent you from logging in.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
